YOUSRA GAMGOUM

Yousra is a dual-qualified Corporate M&A Associate (England & Wales – Egypt) with over a decade of experience advising on complex corporate transactions across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She brings a deep understanding of cross-border M&A, private equity investments, and corporate structuring, having acted on deals exceeding USD 1 billion in aggregate value.

Since relocating to the UK and qualifying as a solicitor with the SRA in 2022, Yousra has continued to work on high-profile transactions, representing clients. She advises on all aspects of M&A, from negotiation and due diligence to drafting transaction documents and providing strategic legal counsel.

Prior to joining the UK legal market, Yousra was a Corporate Counsel at Matouk Bassiouny, where she led multi-jurisdictional transactions for various private equity clients internationally. Her background includes experience in sectors such as tech, energy, healthcare, telecommunications, and education.

Yousra holds two LLMs: one in Law and Economics from the University of Hamburg and another in International Commercial Transactions from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. She is fluent in English and Arabic and is known for her commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and client-centric approach.
